Wagner, Valentin

Student, UDK Berlin, Prof. Thomas Zipp

Valentin Wagner is a visual artist and performer. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in the class of Pamela Rosenkranz and in the class of Thomas Zipp at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). In 2021, he took on the artistic direction of the Pavillion of the Volksbühne at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, where he curates a diverse program in cooperation with Elena Dorn and Nouchka Wolf, including exhibitions, concerts, readings, and theater with Nouchka Wolf and Elena Dorn. From 2020 to 2024, Wagner worked as part of the performance and artist duo Spatzi Spezial with Sophia Süßmilch. He was also regularly involved in the performance series "Der tote Salon" at the Volksbühne Berlin. His work has been presented in numerous international solo and group exhibitions.
